Check for and clear any obstructions in its way.
Genie garage door will not close all the way.

If there s something blocking the door from closing all the way a full close will be impossible.
Your garage door opener may tell you this by showing a blinking light.
For series ii wall console you can remove the wires from the back of the wall console and touch them together to see if the garage door moves.
Step 4 turn the close force dial in small increments until the garage door reaches the ground when you hit the close button on the remote.
They both have lights and both lights should be on.
The transmitters remotes will not work to close the garage door.
